Brake Pads Brake Pads?

Brake Pads? - brake pads

I replaced the brake pads on my Toyota Corolla and I need to know what are the best and last longer. There are: C-glass pads, Duralast Gold, valucraft walrus or ceramic. Any help I would appreciate it. Thank you.

You will be able to collect different opinions on this topic. The basic options in materials of brake linings are organic (non-metallic), semi-metal and ceramic. I recently had to replace the brakes, and I went into the pottery. But I drive a big truck, through a set of pads in 40k miles. If you ceramics (which is a harder material) is on ceramic rotors can also be regarded as the pad becomes increasingly difficult rotors. Ceramic tiles dust than semi-metallic pads. During his work as an advantage of the semi-metallic pads have a slightly better performance (ie) braking force.

If you want to keep the car for some time and pad life is a concern seriously the possibility of ceramics. I do not know the age of the Corolla, but if you do not know how long you stay, you want less expensive alternatives such as organic pads regularly check - especially if you replace the rotors ($) at this time. Bottom line - no matter which brand pad will probably serve you very well. The Corolla does not require tons of braking capability, and MOSt-pads on your car will get 50K miles (and probably more), depending on driving conditions. Plymouth had a foal undiluted 80K miles on the OEM () buffer.

The rotors are metal discs that rotate "," the wheel. The contact pads when the brakes with them. "Turning" the rotors (if not) get so bad a way to reuse the rotors by editing / grinding rust, pits, diversion and turn evenly and in contact with platelets when new uniforms. Good luck!

They're going to replace the brakes after some time, still go to the Duralast. In general, the warranty intact, even with the brakes cheaper than buying.

Double-edged sword. Those who are most usually not for long. Those who give the best results are tables of races, but not longer than a few months. If you are a shit, then I take some time, but the performance will not be there.

Good pads are based on coal, soft pillows balanced and creates a lot of brake dust. However, a good performance for the street performance and should be a good 40 - 60K last. I + HAWK HPS, procurement and Mintex pads for my luxury cars. Replace the rotors for every 100K or less.

Four-wheel disc rotors pads rubbing to create friction to stop the car too.
